STANDARDS & DOCUMENTATION

What applies to the luminaire — and what applies to a component?

This page presents data that apply to the VALDUR luminaire, while certain control functions and certifications belong to the selected driver. EN 13201 is used for lighting design and is not a product certification. These levels are kept clearly separated.

Data that apply to the VALDUR luminaire.

These data apply to the complete luminaire or the stated luminaire configuration — not to a material property or a selected control component in isolation.

CE markingCE markedCE marking is the manufacturer’s declaration that applicable EU requirements are met, not an independent quality certification. Conformity documentation is available on request.
Ingress protectionIP66Applies to the VALDUR luminaire.
Impact resistanceIK08Applies to the complete assembled luminaire in the tested configuration covered by the test documentation.
Protection classClass IIDetermined by the complete electrical and mechanical construction, not by the housing material alone.
Operating temperature−40 to +40 °CSpecified ambient operating-temperature range.

Certification and function that follow the selected component.

The control interface is selected when ordering. A certified component does not automatically certify the complete luminaire under the same programme.

DALI-2

DALI-2 is available depending on the selected FP, SR or CR driver. The statement applies to the selected driver and control configuration, not to DALI-2 certification of the complete VALDUR luminaire.

D4i

The specified SR/CR drivers are D4i-certified. The certification applies to the driver and must not be described as D4i certification of the VALDUR luminaire.

Zhaga Book 18

A Zhaga Book 18 socket is available as an option. The socket is a component interface and does not in itself make the complete luminaire Zhaga-D4i-certified.

EN 13201 belongs to lighting design.

EN 13201 applies to road-lighting design and requirements. It is used at project level and is not a certification of an individual luminaire. VALDUR’s suitability and selected configuration must be assessed against the project’s lighting requirements.
