VALDUR received the iF Design Award and German Design Award in 2024. These recognise design and should not be treated as technical certification of the luminaire.
iF Design Award
VALDUR received the iF Design Award 2024 in the Product Design discipline, Public Design category. An international jury assesses entries for their design.
Material selection is part of VALDUR’s design, alongside form, function and intended use.
The certificate uses the wording Public Use / Retail. iF's current register lists Product Design / Public Design.

WHY DESIGN AWARDS MATTER IN STREET LIGHTING
JEC and CAMX recognise applications of composite materials. Finalist status does not replace test reports for strength, ageing or the performance of the complete luminaire.
Three areas of recognition.
The 2024 and 2025 recognitions concern product design, lighting design and composite materials. Each competition has its own scope of assessment.
Specification also requires technical data, warranty terms and documentation for the chosen configuration.
