Smögen — Smögenbryggan

Smögen in Bohuslän is one of Sweden's most exposed coastal environments — high salinity, persistent coastal humidity, and salt air for most of the year. The installation began in 2024 with two VALDUR luminaires as a trial along Smögenbryggan pier. Following successful field performance in the marine environment, Sotenäs Municipality installed approximately 150 luminaires in 2025. The expansion continued in 2026 with a further 100+ luminaires. Smögen is now one of the largest single VALDUR installations to date and serves as the primary reference for corrosive coastal environments.
