Smögen — Smögenbryggan
The Sotenäs project includes Smögenbryggan, a coastal location exposed to salt and sea winds. Two VALDUR luminaires were evaluated in 2024. The municipality installed 150 luminaires in 2025. In 2026, POLAB sold another 140 luminaires to Sotenäs Municipality.
In connection with the Island of Light festival in Smögen, Johan Johansson, responsible for operations, fitted blue filters to several VALDUR luminaires and checked many of them on site. His impression was that they still looked new.
Figures cover Sotenäs Municipality. Sales and installations are reported separately. The site observation describes visual condition, not a long-term service-life test.
